The book is all about how to master business social media. I have pages and pages of notes from this book….and am now working to implement what I learned. In my notes I have an action plan, changes that need to be made, and a ton of links to other sites.

If you are writing a book, you need to see how Jeff uses his book to build his networks. I couldn’t wait til the end to sign up for his newsletter, become a fan of his FB page, and follow him on Twitter.

Authors need to remember a book is a business card. Use that book to showcase yourself as an expert. And BUILD your brand and your following. I know you many people say they know that already…but to know and to do – well, that’s the secret of success isn't it?

If you watched this season's Survivor TV show, no doubt you noticed the amount of prayer that was happening on the island. Even last night while watching the reunion show, they were mentioning prayer and faith. This has me thinking…will this motivate and inspire others to be more open with prayer?

With prayer being removed from government and schools….it's great to see it on TV….but was it real?
Would someone have been voted out if they didn't join the group in prayer?

This would make a great radio topic piggybacking off the Survivor TV show.

This is a huge fundraiser where people get to donate to health care in their community. We do this with the hospital foundations of the Kootenay Boundary area of BC. If you are a non-profit and are looking to get the word out about your events, this is proof at the power of media. Become a partner of the media. They are always looking to support a big idea. Not a bake sale, or community bingo…think big…create an event…ask your local media if they'd be interested in being the exclusive media sponsor and see what happens. My friend Bob Crawshaw has a book and podcast series coming out soon to help non-profits get media attention. I'll let you know when it's released.
