  • Summer = Interview Opportunities

  • My Newest Product

1. Summer equals interview opportunities.

Summer is a great time for you to get interviewed because the media world goes on holidays and leaves the ‘fill-in hosts’ in the lurch.

These hosts, desperate to have quality guests to fill their time slot, also hope to impress their program director (who is ranting and raving in the corner office about his star on-air team being off the air for so long – How dare they enjoy a holiday)!

Radio stations are run by ratings periods. The biggest ratings periods happen in the fall and then in the spring. This is where hosts bribe you to listen so they can brag about being the #1 station in the market. If they achieve this, their advertising rates go way up and it’s a happy time for everyone. But this isn’t good for you if you are new to getting media attention. In fact, during ratings it’s usually only the greatest gurus with the hottest topics that get a shot to be interviewed on the big name shows.

So take this summer opportunity (while everyone else is sipping a cold brew on a beach) to get booked on as many radio shows as possible. You’ll be amazed how high your chances are of being asked back during ratings – If you can prove you are worth putting on the air!

2. Take the Obvious: Twist it and get media.

Is there a different way for you to say it’s HOT! Is your hometown experiencing record rain, record heat, record snow, or record cold? If so, I bet you’ve been listening to the on-air jocks constantly repeating: It’s blistering HOT yet again: Or It’s raining yet again: or it’s…you get the idea.

This is where I want you to get creative. Let’s use the example of too hot. What a great opportunity for small businesses to get on the air and get some ‘no-charge’ airtime.

EXAMPLES:
An Air Conditioning Company can talk about:

  • The most efficient way to run your AC
  • How to cool down your house the fastest
  • Problems you should watch out for.

Mechanics can discuss:

  • Do we need to drive differently in extreme heat
  • How to heat proof your car
  • Things that often break in the heat

Sports Doctors can talk about:

  • How much to drink while exercising.
  • When is it too hot to exercise
  • The dangers of heat

I’ll bet any of these topics would get booked in a heartbeat in the next heat wave.
Always follow what everyone is talking about and then piggyback your idea off of that.

3. Introducing an interview starring YOU!

How would you like a real interview that features you and your service? Everyone knows how important it is to have audio on your website.

But don’t you feel tacky just bragging about yourself?

Let me interview you about:

  • Why you are the expert in your field.
  • Why people should deal with you.
  • What got you in business
  • What problems you can solve

I record the interview in a professional studio so you sound like a pro. I make every person sound amazing with the goal being to increase your business by proving to your web visitors that you are the real deal.

I’ve interviewed Philosophers, Psychics, Authors, Inventors, and professional speakers.

Isn’t it time for you to stand out above your competition?

Let’s record and interview together and you can use it as a sign up bonus, a lead generation tool, or as a simple sales tool. You decide what you want to do with it.

The Interview is 5-15 minutes in length and comes fully produced and edited with music intro and extro, delivered in crystal clear sound on MP3 (or I will even mail you a CD if you need it.)

All for $197

For the first 20 people who email me I will include my ebook and workbook about how to be a great radio interview at no additional charge so you are 100% ready to be great!
