Financial Coach Media Interview

I found this story yesterday in Glamour magazine! What a great topic for any financial coaches!

YEAH, YOU NEED A 'F***-OFF FUND' – (04/24/2018)
Money can really define a person's life. A poll from Glamour revealed 71 percent said they've stayed in a job because they couldn't afford to leave, and 31 percent say they've been financially trapped in a relationship. Paulette Perhach popularized the term "f***-off fund" last year, when she wrote an essay that went viral. She used the money in her own fund to quit a job she disliked and launched her dream of becoming a traveling writer. Many relate to her story, and original article. Perhach writes, "The piece went viral; women told me it made them cry and they could relate." Her advice to those who want to start their own fund: start small in terms of money you can put away, and "…then just keep building. The genius of a f****-off fund? It isn’t about money only; it’s about building your skills and a network of people who can help you find a new job or escape a bad situation."

As a financial coach, it is perfectly OK to talk about this story during an interview. BUT make sure you always give credit when sharing something like this. The best idea is – take a national story and the localize it for your local media.
Oh and feel free to change the name of it – we would NEVER even hint at the term F off…so we would clean this up for our friendly family show.

Good luck!
