Energy is Important to Giving a Great Interview

As a Radio Host who's interviewed thousands of people…there is 1 thing that standouts as making an interview a super success….and that's ENERGY!

Of course, content matters too but energy makes people listen. That energy you have while talking about a topic can reach out the radio speakers and make listeners care about what you are talking about.

I remember listening to a bird watcher on another station once and my immediate thought was, wow, they have hit the bottom of the barrel for guests, but was I ever wrong!

I think most people discussing bird watching would be boring, but not this guest I had luckily tuned into. He was over-the-top excited about some of the birds he'd seen recently. His enthusiasm was so contagious, I listened to the entire interview and even started looking for some birds on my drive home! LOL.

Chris Holland is a member of the paranormal society in Nelson BC and he called our show to discuss a haunted tour that he was hosting. I have to share this interview because Chris isn't reading from a script – he is truly excited to share his passion with us. Maybe that's why his tours sell out!

You don't always have to be smooth. You can stumble over your own words sometimes. We forgive all of that for an interview that is delivered with PASSION!

Enjoy this interview with Chris
